This business administration management & operations course introduces students to common aspects of business. Students will better understand how businesses are run and what is involved in conducting business. Major topics to be learned relate how business planning, economics, conducting business domestically and internationally, and the laws/ethics that influence a business. Additional topics will include information technology, workplace safety, potential careers in business, creating resumes and the interview process. Students will create business related documents using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and have the opportunity to become Microsoft Office Suite Certified.

This business administration management course takes a more in depth look into operating and growing a business. Major topics to be learned include how to market your business, financial management, business operation and production. Additional topics include consumer credit, risk management, budgeting techniques, stocks, insurance, and planning promotions. Students will create business related documents using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and have the opportunity to become Microsoft Office Suite Certified.
