IMPORTANT SENIOR REMINDER
Attention Graduates/Parents & Guardians, we understand that some of our seniors still have their laptops and chargers for last minute coursework, testing, and other needs. This is a reminder that if you have not turned in your laptop and charger by the night of graduation your diploma will be held until your materials are returned or the balance for the missing items is resolved.
Graduates, please also note that if you have an outstanding balance for any other reason that is not paid, or your materials are not returned by graduation night, May 21, 2026, your diploma will be held until your balance is resolved. SENIOR/GRADUATION ANNOUNCEMENTS
MANDATORY GRADUATION PRATICE
Seniors – Graduation Practice will take place May 20th at 1:15 This is a mandatory requirement to be eligible to participate in the Graduation Ceremony. This is when you will choose your walking partner and receive your medallions!
GRADUATION CERAMONY INFORMATION
Congratulations Seniors! This years Graduation ceremony will take place in the High School Main Gym on May 21st at 7pm.
Tickets do not need to be purchased, and there is no guest cap per student. The ceremony will also be live streamed on Facebook.
Seniors need to report to the Aux Gym no later than 6:15 to prepare for the ceremony.
ACCESSIBLE SEATING FOR GRADUATION
If you or a family member need accessible seating at graduation they need to be reserved in advance - please contact Mrs.
Maurer in the office to do this. Email Alanna.Maurer@hassk12.org or call 269-945-6162.

REMINDERS
BUS TRANSPORTATION REQUEST
If your student will be riding the bus next year, please complete an updated transportation request form for the 2026-27 school year. Forms are due to the transportation office by July 17th. Click here to quickly fill out the digital form! (5/29)
MEDICATION PICK UP
Just a reminder as the school year comes to an end; parents/guardians or a designated family member over 18 (name must be on student's contact list) must pick up any remaining medications the student has at the school. You will have one week after classes end to collect them (June 5, 2026) or they will be disposed of per school policy. This is for ALL prescription and non-prescription medications.
If your student carries an emergency medication (such as an inhaler or epi pen) they may just bring home.

LOST AND FOUND
Be sure to check the lost and found for anything that may belong to you. Any items not claimed by Friday, May 29th will be donated to Goodwill. Our lost and found is located in the main entrance vestibule.
HONORS NIGHTS
Invitations Letters are being mailed home to students being recognized at our HHS Honors Nights.
Seniors: For those invited, Senior Honors Night will take place on Wednesday, May 20, at 7:00 PM in the HPAC.
Grades 9th, 10th, and 11th: For those invited, the Underclassmen Honors Night will take place on Wednesday, May 27, at 7:00 pm in the HPAC.

REPORT CARDS & POWERSCHOOL
In an effort to be more efficient with our resources, HHS will no longer be printing paper copies of report cards to mail home. Students and families will be encouraged to view their PowerSchool portal online. Parents who already have accounts set up do NOT need to create a new account. If you have login issues or questions regarding your Parent PowerSchool account, you may contact Mrs. Erb in the high school office at 269-945-6169 or by email at: kristi.erb@hassk12.org (Note: Parents still needing a paper copy mailed can request one from Mrs. Erb.) Summer Food Schedule
We’re excited to share that Hand2Hand food support will continue to be available all summer long! Families with children ages 3–18 are welcome to stop by any of the listed locations to pick up food with no sign up required. All Saxon Football players will have a QUICK meeting in the Cafeteria on Thursday at 3:05pm
Boys Soccer
There will be a short meeting right after school on Thursday, May 21 in the Athletic Commons for anyone interested in playing Boys Soccer this Fall.
RESULTS from coaches
JV Softball
JV Softball defeated Marshall in both games of a DH yesterday, winning by scores of 10-0 and 22-3. In game one, Lexus Gorodenski, Lily McFarlan, Autumn Mayack and Jae Neymeyier had multiple hits for the Saxons. McFarlan had a great game in the circle, striking out 4 RedHawk batters. In game 2, McFarlan, Mayack, Abby Frazer, Rylee Raison, Taylor Aspinall, and Lainah Brasher had multiple hits. Tempy Jiles got the win in the circle. Mayack, Neymeyier, Gorodenski, and Morgan Casselman made some nice plays defensively in support of their pitchers. JV final game is next week Tuesday vs Charlotte
Tennis
The Varsity Saxon Tennis team concluded their season yesterday at the I-8 Conference Tournament in Battle Creek and tied for 3rd place with Harper Creek. At 1st singles, Alexa Lilly shrugged off illness to place third. At 3rd singles, Lilli Edger placed 3rd, as did Lilly Randall at 4th Singles. The 4th doubles team played in the finals and fought a tough Parma team but came up short to take 2nd place. Congrats to the Lady Netters on a successful season.
