The purpose of FFA is to prepare students in both the technical and leadership areas of agriscience and natural resources. FFA is a national youth organization that helps students shape their futures for a brighter tomorrow. Members are involved in many technical and leadership activities. Leadership teams compete in district, regional, and state competitions in February and March. In April, members practice technical skills in a related area of study. Members attend leadership camp, the State FFA Convention, in East Lansing, and the National FFA Convention in Louisville, Kentucky.
