CALEB KRAMER

A leader both in and out of the spotlight, Caleb serves as your Student Council Senior Class President, and is an active member of the National Honor Society and has participated in 4-H.

On the field and in the pool, Caleb has represented our school in freshman football, and three years of varsity cross country, varsity track and field, and varsity swimming and diving. One of his proudest high school moments was earning four-time SCC All-Conference for swimming all in a single meet.

Caleb’s talents also shine on stage as a member of the Varsity Singers and through his performance in the musical Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.

In his free time, Caleb enjoys running, swimming, playing video games, vlogging, reading about biology and astronomy, building forts with friends, hanging out with his girlfriend, and tending to his ducks and chickens.

Above all, Caleb is most proud of serving meals to the community throughout the year and making it his mission to ensure that everyone feels welcomed and has a friend to talk to.

JACK WEBB

A familiar face on the field and the floor, Jack has represented our school in both football and basketball, and is an active member of Iron Saxon. Basketball fans will recognize Jack’s major athletic accomplishment from his junior year, when he was named team MVP and earned all-conference honors.

Off the court, Jack loves spending time with his friends, whether they're hitting the links for a round of golf or grabbing a quick bite to eat. One of his all-time favorite high school memories comes from a trip to Tennessee, where an eight-hour hike with friends turned into an unforgettable mountain adventure that lasted until 11 p.m.

BRYCE ETHERIDGE

A standout presence on the court and in the stands, Bryce plays basketball and is an active member of Iron Saxons. Bryce takes huge pride in his school spirit, having been a dedicated voice in the student section all four years of high school and now taking the lead as one of this year's student section leaders. Some of his favorite high school memories come from hitting the road with the basketball team for summer trips to Boyne, filled with great games and team bonding.

Recently, Bryce has picked up a new passion off the court: cutting hair. He loves sharpening his skills as a barber, so he lets everyone know he's open for business if you need a fresh trim!

QUINCY BROWN

Quincy serves as an active member of Link Crew and FCA. Quincy is exceptionally proud of his growth as an athlete. Through sheer grit and dedication, he transformed from a benched 7th grader into a three-year varsity basketball player and two-year varsity captain, all while maintaining a grounded mindset and learning more about himself along the way.

When he isn't playing basketball, Quincy loves to cook, build LEGO sets, and spend quality time with his friends. One of his favorite high school memories comes from a trip to Tennessee with his friends, where an eventful mountain hike turned into an adventure complete with pitch-black skies, pouring rain, and getting temporarily lost before successfully navigating back to the trail.

ETHAN HAWTHORNE

Ethan excels both on the diamond and in the classroom. He has been a key starter for varsity baseball since his sophomore year, while staying heavily involved in school leadership as a member of student council and the National Honor Society. Ethan is especially proud of his academic dedication, maintaining an impressive GPA above 4.0, sitting at a stellar 4.07!

In his free time, Ethan loves hunting, fishing, exercising, and playing sports. Looking back on his high school years, one of his absolute favorite memories was ringing in the New Year surrounded by his best friends during his junior year.

AVA PATTERSON

Ava is a passionate leader across our school and community. She serves as President and Elected Official for Youth in Government, Social Media Director for debate, and a student representative on the City to Students Downtown Development Authority. She is also an active member of the Student Advisory Board, National Honor Society, Environmental Science Club, and the FCA Leadership Team.

Ava played softball during her freshman and sophomore years, and her vocal talent shines in both Sonos and Varsity Choir. Theater fans will also recognize Ava from her performances in the school musical all four years of high school.

This past summer, Ava achieved a major milestone: she was selected as one of only 20 to 25 Michigan delegates to attend the prestigious Conference on National Affairs in North Carolina, collaborating with student leaders from across the nation.

When she isn't leading clubs or performing, Ava loves singing, being active in her community, and creating unforgettable memories with her group of friends.

LOLA GREGO

Lola played volleyball for three years and is currently on the tennis team for her junior and senior seasons. Lola has a passion for education and giving back to younger students. For two years now, she has spent four to five days a week working as a teacher mentor at Northeastern Elementary, dedicated to building a safe, comfortable, and engaging learning environment where every child can thrive.

Outside of school and mentoring, Lola loves playing pickleball, beach volleyball, going to the beach, and shopping with her friends. Looking back on high school, her favorite memories come from the time spent with her great friend Paula Muga during her junior year, who remains one of her absolute best friends, even from the other side of the world!

BRISSA HERNANDEZ-HERNANDEZ

Brissa is a powerhouse of student leadership and community service. Across four years in student council, Link Crew, and the Student Advisory Board, she has worked tirelessly to elevate student voices and welcome new students. Her resume spans National Honor Society, Business Professionals of America, FFA, Environmental Club, TATU, SADD, and Voces, where she helps tutor younger ESL students.

A passionate advocate for civic engagement, Brissa volunteers with LIBRE Initiative, Indivisible, and the Barry County Democrats. She is most proud of balancing a heavy schedule of AP classes and massive community involvement without ever slowing down.

In her free time, Brissa loves traveling to explore new cultures and foods, following soccer, volunteering on political campaigns, and hanging out with friends and family. And while she’s accomplished a lot, one of her favorite memories remains her time in the art room, where she managed to get ink all over her face, forget her assignments, and accidentally blow up her first pottery project in the kiln!

MEREDITH ANSORGE

Meredith is a true driving force in our school and community. She holds leadership roles in Student Council, Debate, and Youth in Government, and is an active member of Math Team, Key Club, BPA, Quiz Bowl, and National Honor Society. A trailblazer in local civic engagement, Meredith serves as a student representative on the Hastings City Planning Commission and founded City to Students, a program connecting high schoolers with local government.

In athletics, Meredith spent two years as a pitcher and first baseman on the varsity softball team. In the arts, she sings alto in Varsity Singers, plays trombone in concert band, has performed on stage and in the pit for the school musical, and proudly serves as head drum major for the marching band. One of her absolute favorite memories is performing the iconic drum major skit at band camp: #workitsisters!

Among her many accomplishments, Meredith is especially proud of taking seventh place in the state for BPA Business Spelling, a feat she achieved despite accidentally falling asleep halfway through the exam! In her free time, Meredith loves reading and taking long walks with her dog, Esther.

SOPHIE HAYWOOD

Sophie is an incredible, multi-talented leader in our school and local music scene. She plays varsity tennis and is an active member of student council, math team, and the National Honor Society. She has served as the executive president of the student council for the last two years.

Her deep passion for music shines across every stage; she has been involved in band for six years, plays in both Steel Band and Jazz Band, sings in choir, and performs in the school musical. Outside of school, she rocks out with the Kalamazoo Academy of Rock. Some of her favorite high school memories come directly from musical season, sharing the joy and camaraderie with her fellow cast members.

When she isn't performing, Sophie loves reading, drawing, and writing and playing music with her rock band.
