Marketing Management
This marketing course introduces students to marketing. The course works with the high school’s school store to gain real experiences in marketing and sales. Through project-based learning students learn what marketing is, how managers use marketing, how to conduct market research, how businesses conduct/evaluate their marketing, and the concepts around pricing, promotion, products, and placement.
 
Marketing, Advertising & Promotion
This marketing course builds upon the previous marketing course and increases students’ knowledge in marketing. The course works with the high school’s school store to gain real experiences in marketing and sales. Students conduct projects related to marketing, advertising and promotion to gain real world experiences of how marketing is conducted. Additionally, this course reinforces and expands on previous management course topics related to communication, business planning, and international business.
 
Entrepreneurship
This marketing course expands on the concept of entrepreneurship discussed in lower level marketing courses. In this course students will gain in depth knowledge of what is required to start a business including government requirements, capital, intellectual property and more. Students will also gain in depth knowledge on strategies of successful entrepreneurs, along with general business practices to start and run a business including feasibility studies, market research, industry research, marketing, bootstrapping a business and more. Additional topics will also include identifying workplace hazards, professional networking and professional development.
